Developing instrument of academic potential test analogy verbal ability for undergraduate students

The paper aims to develop the instrument about analogy test measure level of intelligence undergraduate students. Determination number samples is done by purposive sampling technique. This analyzed factor analysis. Of 15 items that will be used academic potential for verbal analogies, 4 analysis factors. formation these factors from Eigenvalues greater than 1 so there are only fulfill requirements. Furthermore, tested 91 student respondents obtained 2 invalid with correlation coefficient ≤0.3, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) and Bartlett's amounted 0.785 p 0.05. Trial results trial average validity questions 96.8%. Test reliability was using Alpha (α) formula Cronbach. calculation help IBM SPSS version 22.0 Windows program 0.806 obtained. Based on research, it can concluded quality developed has been valid reliable.
